Laminar air flow system – HOSP-TL

The Operating Theatres Ceilings of the HOSP-TL series are the simplest and most economical solution fot he creation of the waterproof laminar flow systems especially for operating theatres.
The grill, made of strong extruded anodised aluminium profiles assembled on T and L cross joints in die cast aluminium is designed to house the absolute filters of the “Knife” series: the blade of the filter and the perimeter of the pressurisation plenum are sunk in the gel contained in the hollow of the profile.
Easy installation and maintenance, they are available in eight different forms.

Components’ description

Profile

made of extruded aluminium alloy and it has a reduced width (50 mm) which allows for a 2% increase of the filtering surface as against the usual profiles with a 60 mm width.

Junctions

made of die-cast aluminium alloy.

Plenum

Aisi 304 stainless steel plate plenum, bent and strenghthened to prevent mechanical resonance, welded and sealed on all the joints. Complete with flanges for connecting the air adduction pipes and diffuse nozzles.

Sealing gel

two-component gel with low viscosity and good resistance to heat.

Distributor

micro-perforated in AISI 304 stainless steel.
