Air shower – Vortex

The VORTEX Air Shower is designed to remove residual particles from operators’ garments at the end of production activities, combining efficient decontamination with the ability to recover or safely dispose of the collected material.

APPLICATIONS
Precious metal recovery
In precious metal processing, VORTEX removes and recovers residual gold dust and other valuable particles from operators’ garments, reducing material losses and improving process efficiency.

Hazardous powder containment
In processes involving hazardous powders, VORTEX prevents operators from carrying contaminants outside the controlled environment, collecting residual particles for safe disposal and protecting both people and surrounding areas.

HOW IT WORKS
The unit generates high-velocity air cleaning cycles through EC centrifugal fans and directional nozzles positioned on the side walls and ceiling. The air stream effectively removes particles adhering to operators’ clothing and directs them towards the internal filtration and recovery system.
Unlike conventional air showers, VORTEX not only removes contaminants from garments but also enables their recovery or safe disposal through an integrated collection system equipped with a removable recovery drawer.
The machine functions are fully automatic and can be customised according to customer requirements.
